Lighting Systems for Artificial Turf – In Partnership with the Sports Lighting Company
Working with our lighting partner the Sports Lighting Company, Synthetic Turf Management can offer floodlighting systems that satisfy every requirement involved with sports or education lighting, from initial design concepts to planning and installation.
The sports package includes:

There are many ways in which lighting systems can be adapted to meet individual requirements; we welcome the opportunity to discuss your proposed scheme and how we can provide the right system to suit the specific location. Planning permission is an obligatory part of floodlighting any external area; this process generally takes 8 weeks.
Floodlighting enables you to make the most of your outdoor sports or educational facilities. Synthetic Turf Management in conjunction with several SAPCA accredited floodlighting companies, are able to offer a static floodlighting system to suit any specific requirements. We are able to offer the whole system from all columns, control gears, floodlights, service pillars, and cabling, trenching, mains distribution and control devices.
We are also able to offer a retractable floodlighting system as an alternative to the static system. The system is made up of powerful floodlights attached to the intermediate fencing posts, and raised in a simple telescopic action, giving you an even spread of light without glare. This system obviously gives the benefits of having floodlights without being obtrusive, we can tailor make your system to suit your needs.

Fencing Systems for Artificial Turf
Having the correct fencing selection is vital and equally as important to the surface selection. We have a range of fencing applications to suit MUGA’s, synthetic pitches and playground surrounds all of which can be design for your requirements.
Twin Bar system is a consideration for sports facilities and schools alike, with strength and safety combined with an attractive finish. The Twin Bar Panel Systems are designed to withstand impact and retain integrity and durability whilst providing excellent ball-stop qualities. This system also allows optimum visibility through the fence line. The panels are manufactured from heavily galvanised wire rods, welded together to form a standard 200x50mm mesh, providing unparalleled strength and a long effective lifespan.
This all-surround fencing package can be created using a variety of heights and colours to suit customer specification.
Roll form welded mesh is cost-effective and highly adaptable making it a popular choice for a wide range of sports fencing applications. Offered in a range of heights and finished either galvanised only or in two standard colours (green or black), the welded mesh system can be applied for use as a pitch, MUGA, tennis court or site boundary fence. Various additional items can be included in conjunction with the welded mesh to provide increased functionality, such as timber kick-boards, rebound panels and sports netting.
In addition to our standard roll form welded mesh and twin bar panel systems we can offer enhancements in the form of integral rebound panels, ideal for five-a-side football, hockey and other high impact ball games. Along with the roll form welded mesh we can offer a 358 steel rebound panel or a timber rebound panel, typically at 1.20m in height. We can also specifically adapt these rebound panels to be used with the twin bar system. The twin bar super rebound system comprises of additional horizontal wires welded into the lower 1.20m of a standard 2.00m twin bar panel offering increased strength and durability in a multi use games area application.
Tennis Court System
Created to meet the specifications required for domestic or club use, this versatile tennis court system provides maximum benefits. Having been installed in a wide range of establishments from schools to local leisure facilities to private domestic premises, this lightweight system offers a cost effective perimeter for single or multi-block courts.
Predominantly fabricated from CHS posts and chain link fencing, this system is available in 2.75m and 3.60m heights. Drop sides of 1.20m high can also be incorporated for spectator visibility and the inclusion of single and double leaf gates further enhance the surrounds.
Multi Purpose Play Areas
The Multi Purpose Play Areas are manufactured from a heavy-duty grid system for robust and durable games applications and are designed to comply with the requirements of the PAS 30 specification. Supplied in a range of standard RAL colours and standard heights, the Multi Purpose Play Area is ideal for any recreational sports location, playground facility, council project or school application. The complete play areas can be enclosed using the heavy-duty grid panels to give a highly durable and built to last system or alternatively the Twin Bar Super Rebound panels can be installed.
